Upgraded Photo Viewing and Sharing on Facebook

One of the world’s largest social networks, Facebook has more than 900 million users according to the statistics of May 2012. It provides an area for social interaction by sharing text updates, photos, and videos. Today, Facebook is widely used not only by individuals, but also companies open their pages and establish connections with their clients (see more in Social Media Marketing section).
Facebook deals almost with 100 million photos a day and the improvements were long expected. It has good news for people who love sharing photos on Facebook.
Last year Timeline was introduced to the users and it brought improvements to the photo section. However, on Monday Facebook presented a new enhanced feature of image-viewing. Now with the new design if you click on the photos at the top of your timeline, the pictures will fill up the page. Also you can use the menu feature to find the pictures you have shared, you were tagged in or albums you have created.
This new interface gives the users of Timeline more control to choose their best photos, as there is also the feature of clicking on the star button and making your favorite photos stand out.
It is worth to remind that Facebook has lately paid much attention to photo section and has purchased Instagram for $1 billion and rolled out its own Instagram competitor, Facebook Camera.
